Frank BRAIN

Frank was born on 30th May 1913 to parents John and Janet Brain (both born in 1879). His father was a collier. He was baptised on 3rd September 1916 along with his sister, Constance May, who was born on 16th May 1916.

In 1939, the family were living at Woodlands, Old Lane, Rainhill. John (b 1879) was a road repairer. Frank was a greengrocer. Brother Edward (b 1914) was a Chemist's errand boy. Sisters Constance (b 1916) and Eva Mary (b 1919) were both unemployed domestic servants.

​John Snr died in 1951 and mother Janet died in 1954.

Private 3090342 Frank Brain (Pioneer Corps) died in September 1941.
